Play with kids in the car with fun, simple games that turn every ride into a happy family moment.

I’m a traveler and a parent who loves exploring the world with my 3 kids and my wife— even when the journey happens in the car.
Anyone who travels with children knows the challenge: long drives, boredom, and endless “Are we there yet?”
To make our trips more joyful, I started collecting simple, fun, and creative car games that help families laugh, talk, and truly enjoy time together. Games that don’t need screens, special tools, or preparation — just curiosity and imagination.
Games

I see what you don't see, and it's have color...
I see what you don't see, and it's have color... is a classic and fun observation game that is perfect for playing in the car.
One player secretly chooses an object they can see either inside the car or outside through the window. Then they say the famous phrase:
“I see what you don't see, and it's have [color]...”
For example, the object could be the sky, a road sign, or a tree.
After that, all other players look around and try to guess what the object is. Players can ask yes-or-no questions to get hints, such as:
- Is it alive?
- Do we have it at home?
- Is it big?
- Is it something outside the car?
The player who guesses the correct object first becomes the next one to choose a new object and start the game again.

Football players
Football Players is a simple and fun memory game that is perfect for playing in the car or during a family trip.
Players take turns naming football players they know. There is no required order, team, or country — players can say any footballer they remember. It is allowed to say either the first name or the last name.
The game continues as long as players can remember new football players. If a player cannot name a footballer or repeats a name that was already said, they are eliminated from the game.
The last player who is still able to name football players without forgetting wins the game.
Guess the word
Guess the word… is a fun and educational guessing game for kids that helps develop vocabulary, logical thinking, and communication skills. It’s easy to play at home, on the road, or with friends..
One player (a child) secretly thinks of a word and says only the first letter of that word. Then they say the magic phrase:
“Guess the word…first letter is…”
For example, the word could be cat, snow, or apple. After that, all other players take turns trying to guess the word. They can ask yes-or-no questions to get clues, such as:
Is it alive?
Is it white?
Can you eat it?
The player who guesses the correct word first becomes the next one to choose a new word and start the game again.

Car Logo Spotting
Car Logo Spotting is a fun and fast observation game that is perfect for playing in the car and testing how quickly players can recognize car brands.
Players look outside the car and carefully watch passing or parked vehicles. As soon as someone recognizes a car logo, they say the brand name out loud.
The goal is to be the first to correctly name the car logo you see.
For example, you might spot logos like BMW, Audi, Toyota, or Ford.
Each time a player is the first to correctly name a logo, they earn one point.
The game continues until one player reaches 10 points.
The first player to reach 10 points wins the game.
Funny Gifts
Funny Gifts is a creative and joyful imagination game where players give each other the funniest gifts they can imagine.
Players take turns giving gifts to each other — but not ordinary ones. The gifts must be funny, silly, or completely unreal.
Each player thinks of a gift and says what they would give to the next player.
For example:
- “I give you a dog that tells jokes every time you pet it.”
- “I give you a toothbrush that makes your breath smell like avocado forever.”
- “I give you shoes that make you jump like a frog.”
There is no winner in this game. The goal is to laugh, use imagination, and enjoy funny ideas together.
The game helps develop creativity, imagination, and communication skills — and brings lots of laughter during the whole game.
World Cities
World Cities is a classic and educational word game that challenges players’ knowledge of geography and quick thinking.
Players take turns naming cities from around the world. Each new city must start with the last letter of the previous city.
For example:
- One player says: Rome
- The next player must say a city starting with E, such as Edinburgh
- The game continues with each new city following the last letter
If a player cannot think of a city on their turn, they are eliminated from the game.
The game continues until only one player remains.
The last remaining player is the winner.
This game helps improve geography knowledge, vocabulary, and fast thinking skills.
Opposites
Opposites is a fun and educational game designed to help young children develop language and thinking skills. Players practice vocabulary and imagination while learning about words and their opposites.
One player says a word, and another player must quickly come up with the opposite of that word.
Examples of words and their opposites include:
- Big — Small
- Fast — Slow
- Sky — Ground
- Red — Blue
The game continues with players taking turns saying words and guessing opposites. There is no winner — the goal is to have fun, laugh, and learn new words together.
